Give Thanks 2015

New Hope Central Oahu in association with many Central Oahu churches and organizations organizes this annual Thanksgiving outreach to the community, feeding the homeless, the elderly, the disenfranchised and the first responders working on Thanksgiving.

This year 61 turkeys were cooked (with all the fixings), over 650 “Blessing Bags” were made and over 1,200 meals were prepared.

51 men of New Hope Central Oahu just completed an amazing weekend retreat at Camp Pu’u Kahea.  Pray for them as they return to their jobs and families seeking to be men of honor, representing the love of Christ in every area of their lives.

Ever think the Church needs to do more to help people? Does it feel like you come to Church to “pray and pay” when deep in your heart you want to “play?” This series is about the Church—all of us—making a real difference in the world. We’re going to be intentional! We’re doing “Acts of Kindness Not-So-Random!” What does our Church do to help the poor, the homeless? What are we doing to stop sex trafficking? This holiday season discover how one simple act of kindness from you can transform a life.
